Chiropractic VS inversion table?
I recently saw a chiropractor for sciatica, but after X-rays, discovered the sciatic pain is caused by degenerative disc disease. Although I found my visits to him effectively, I cringe when I think of the project Bill, I am racking his office. My stepfather gave me his inversion table, and said to use rather than seeing the chiropractor, the table is equally effective. Is this true or am I doing more harm than good to myself by trying to be a Pincher penny? Any help / advice would be apprectiated!
Both can be good and both can have problems. Obviously, you've been getting some good results with the chiropractor, but you must make sure it was also give you exercises to strengthen the spine. There have been some new studies indicate that chiropractic care and / or physical therapy may prevent degenerative disc disease, but in your case, they can help prevent worse. inversion tables are great provided you do not have knee, hip, ankle, heartproblems, or acid reflux. All are bad when are combined with inversion tables. But if it helps as well and that makes it so you can go longer between visits and more, then you nothing to lose. I also recommend omega three fatty acids. approximately 3000mg/day around. not 300, but three miles. then by the size of horse pills.
