The burning of fat around the waist: Do cracks and other targeted exercises actually work well for fatloss?
I was do cardio and weight training regularly at a gym with a trainer who makes me feel healthier, but so far, did not lead to weight loss for any reason (Make 6-10 hours per week, half the weight), but perhaps a little fat loss and gain muscle. My question is: Do exercises such as crunches that target the abdominals and lower back muscles actually help to specifically target fat around the waist? Are there any exercises that can atrget specific areas of fat? Or is the region where you gain weight simply genetically determined and is overall weightloss through cardio / weighttraining and food the only way to lose weight around the waist?
To the best of my knowledge, when you do crunches to strengthen the muscles under the fat. The AIDS in a trimmer waistline, but the cardio is also important to burn the fat that is located on the top. So the more muscle you gain the more fat you burn. In so doing both is important. For your other question, you can only target specific muscles. Yes a lot of your form is genetic, but if you're like me, you fight! Be persistent and do not give up, weight loss is slower then Permin keep that in mind. And your last question, diet and exercise may not be the only way to lose weight but they are the only ways that work for and you are 100% safe. It is difficult, but it's worth it. Oh and one last thing, I suggest you do research on the apple vs. pear-shaped organs. There are certain foods you can eat that are better for every body type. I am an apple and I carry most weight in my stomach. Pears have in their hips or thighs. Apple shapes carry a greater risk unfortunately. So if this is you look at the issue, certainly can not hurt!
