So you ask, what is the best ab workout for losing your belly? Well, the answer will surprise you … None. When working only your abs, you do not create enough metabolic response to actually get a loss of fat. In fact, you do not really do much for you get rid of your belly at all.
Working as a professional fitness, people are always asking me the best type of training to achieve the elusive six pack, or how can I get rid of that belly! They are generally looking for a miracle, or a way easy to get rid of this fat.
But looking at the easy way, which does not actually go anywhere, they are things in the wrong sense. You just will not be able to lose belly fat to abdominal training! Its as simple as that.
You need to concentrate the majority of your time to lose belly fat is around your base. This does not mean you should not work your heart, but not only by abdominal and other useless ab workouts.
So the answer I give to people when they ask what is the best workout is to lose your belly often surprises. I usually start by saying that the whole body exercises are the best, those who burn calories. Exercises like, slots squats, deadlifts, pull ups, pumps, interval sprint training. The list goes on and on.
Now do not get me wrong, it is a place for some ab work. But your workouts should focus on whole-body exercises. Then two or three times a week you can do some work from the end of your session.
You need to burn calories and build muscle. Muscle in turn, burn more calories when you are resting. This strategy will maximize your metabolism, which is very important.
Remember your whole body, also the work your midsection. You'll be strengthening your core and ABS like crazy when these buildings to other strength exercises.
So stop wasting your time working on Situpa and crunches or leg raises … Or worse yet the machines from terrible lie on all channels of advertising.
