The secret to developing great abs lies at least partially in ignoring conventional wisdom. For starters, treat your body as a complete unit, rather that focusing on the size. The most common mistake made by most individuals because hundreds and hundreds of abdominal exercises, but neglecting other calorie burning cardiovascular exercises. Starting Position: Lie on your back with your hands at your sides. Raise your legs up in the air. Movement: Exhale as you bend your knees while your lower body curling toward your chest. Inhale as you slowly return your leg to the starting position. Remember to tighten your abs, and repeat if necessary.
Lying Scissors – Lower Abdominal Muscles.
Starting position: Lie on your back on the exercise matt with your palms on the mat under your lower back and legs outstretched. Movement: Exhale as you raise your tower legs in the air with a slight bend in them. Inhale as you lower your legs down to the mat. Repeat required.
Side Crunch – abdominal oblique muscles.
Starting Position: – Lie on your back, knees bent together, and your waist is twisted so that your legs are on top of each other to one side of your body. Make sure your blades are uniformly flat against the floor. Movement: – Exhale as you bring your upper body from the ground. This implies a contraction of your abdominal oblique muscles. Repeat repetitions necessary. Turn your legs across your body to work the opposite side.
